    Great Basin Visitor Center in Baker (outside of the park)

    Travel up the road tends to take about 30 minutes if visitors do not stop
    23.3-mile out-and-back 
    this scenic byway is narrow and very windy throughout all 12 miles. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife crossing the road, and be sure to use lower gears when descending this very steep route
